A bit about us

Emaliniart is the mother–daughter creative journey of Emma and Alanis, inspired by a shared love of the sea and the treasures it holds.

Emma grew up in Devon, surrounded by the coastline that sparked her lifelong connection to the ocean. After marrying and moving to Malta, she began her creative journey there—painting seascapes and capturing the colours, moods, and movement of the water she loved.

Alanis grew up by the Maltese sea, immersed in that same coastal beauty and nurtured by a creative household. Surrounded by her mother’s art, she found her own path of expression through seashells, shaping them into unique and meaningful designs.

Together, their crafts blend seamlessly—Emma’s paintings and artworks echoing the spirit of the ocean, and Alanis’ shell art bringing the sea’s natural beauty into people’s hands and homes.

At its heart, Emaliniart is a story of family, heritage, and creativity. Every piece is made with care, inspired by the tides and coastlines of both Malta and Devon, carrying a little bit of the sea’s magic with it.
